We also got a group note from Dossledorf that read,

Oh dear friends,

The fairies and I LOVED your communifairalees so much! We really hope you liked receiving the answers to your questions!

The fairies asked me to be brief this morning since they are so excited for what awaits you at Hannalonkawich.

They had a fantastic idea yesterday after listening to you tell everyone about your favorite fairy tales!

Go quickly friends!

Fun awaits!

Love, D

So quickly we went!  We hiked to Hannolonkawich with all our new pals.

When we got there, we noticed something strange in the trees… and an interesting note!

Dear Friends,

We are so over the moon excited to introduce you to one of our favorite Fairy Tales. This is one about our fearless leaders, Queen Leekis and King Wringlepringle. This is an interactive story – which means, you will lend a hand in helping the characters – you may use your imagination, open hearts or creative souls.

We adore you, campers!

And we are so excited for you to read this first chapter!

Love, The fairies

Olivia read us the story – we couldn’t believe it!  A real live FAIRY TALE!

A FAIRY TALE

Once upon a time, there was a very intelligent Fairy Queen named Leekis. She was married to a very thoughtful Fairy King named Wringlepringle. Together, they ruled a village named Hannalonkwich with honesty, love and care. They were very well liked and the magic of the village was strong.

One day, the two fairies went out for a fly. They were flying together, hand in hand, discussing their village, their children and all of their friends. When suddenly, a rainstorm came upon them. Thunder boomed and lightening crashed – and the poor royal fairies could not find shelter!   The storm was so unexpected that they did not bring the waterproof web for their wings… and their wings became torn and damaged.

“Help!” They cried. “Help!”.

The two fairies yelled to the stormy sky! “Can anyone help us with our wings??”

TO BE CONTINUED…

It was amazing – the kids knew exactly what to do!  Hudson suggested we go back and make waterproof wings for the fairies… so we did just that!

Afterwards we created this magical spell to put on the wings so that Queen Leekis and King Wringlepringle would be safe:

Fairies on the ground, Fairies on the roof,

Make these wings… WATERPROOF!

We hope this helps the royal fairies!
