Fairy Camp LA

What a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season! These magical souls had such a great time creating, making friends and giggling a ton! We also loved helping the fairies get ready for the Festival of Wishes!

After reading Dossledorf’s notes to us and having an epic freeze dance,

we received this note from PIP:

Hi friends,
It’s me PIP again.
I have loved watching you at camp these past few days. I can see why Dossledorf loves being with you so much.
I heard some of the older fairies talking about how beautiful your wish catchers were and how excited they were to come to your homes to see what you are wishing for.
Thank you for being big hearted and kind. I wonder if there is a way you can spread your kindness even more? Maybe to people who need a few wishes sent their way? I’m sure you will think of something. You are very smart.

We are starting the Festival of Wishes tonight. I’m really excited! I hope you will celebrate today too. If you decide to, be sure to transform into magical fairies… and be sure to DANCE!

PIP helped us remember that it is important to give wishes to those around us. Together, we discussed wishes we could make for the world, for those who are struggling, to strangers and to people in our community. To honor those wishes, we made wish garlands with stars and snowflakes that I hope you will hang somewhere in your home this holiday!

In order to prepare for the upcoming festival, we had a little surprise for our campers – a friend of mine who can turn Human children into fairies! The kids looked incredible and the face paint really seemed to make us fly higher, laugh harder and be more magical while we danced, played games and said good-bye to this beautiful time together.

Thanks again to Ursula, Oscar and August for hosting, and to all of you who I know were jumping through hoops to get tested each day. The fairies and I wish you happy and healthy holidays!
