Oh I really like this group of campers! Such respectful, imaginative kids! YAHOO! Most of our group has already been to Fairy Camp so our minds were buzzing with magic and excitement!
After chatting, singing and laughing a lot the kids used their magical skills to find the following note:
Dearest Campers,
Oh joy and hip hip hooray! I’m so glad to see all of you! You’ve come right at the perfect time! It’s the most wonderful season of all here at Hannalonkawich. It is the time when all the holiday fairies from North Star Rinderville come down to help with festivities and merriment.
It’s super crowded here and we are all pitching in to set up for the Festival of Wishes that is happening on Wednesday.
We have winter fairies, Hannlonkawich fairies, holiday fairies and night fairies zipping and zooming around. What a sight!
I have to go – but wanted to let you know that I will have enough time to write you tonight if you make a communifairilee. I’ve left some wishing stars for you to decorate your boxes with too – it is after all the Festival of Wishes!
Talk to you soon!
Dossledorf
We found the cutest, smallest communifairilees and we decorated them with paint and stars. We hope Dossledorf writes us back tomorrow!

After lunch, we found yet another note! This time it was from PIP – the smallest fairy in the village. Check it out:
Hi friends,
My name is Pip. I’m a fairy who lives in Hannalonkawich. I am the smallest of all the fairies and I always have a lot of questions. All the grown up fairies right now are so busy getting things ready for the Winter Holiday that I can’t get anyone’s attention. So I hope that you don’t mind that I am asking you.
You are, after all, known to be magical Humans. The most magical I should say.
So will you help me?
Here is my question:
Everyone around here lately keeps talking about wishes. It seems like this whole season is about making wishes, giving wishes, having wishes and making wishes come true.
I have a big wish.
But where do I put it? It’s pretty heavy and really important. Do you know where I bring my wish?
Thanks for your help,
PIP
We discussed all the ways we can wish: on stars, moons, dandelions, eyelashes, make drawings, in fountains, on coins, etc. We made wish jars to put our own wishes in – this group is really creative!
