Hi All!
What a super fun day at a super magical place! I can’t believe this group only met this morning- they are so friendly and so outgoing. What a pleasure it was to see them all make friends.

Today after we sang, danced, went over our only rule (RESPECT!), learned about magic and then we found the following note:
Dear Campers,
Oh hello dear friends! We are so excited to see you! We have been counting down the days until you arrived at Rex and Daphne’s house.
For those of you who do not know, my name is Dossledorf and I am the lead Communications Fairy for the village of Hannalonkawich.
The fairies here in hannalonkawich are bubbling over with gratitude – and we are getting ready for our own Thanksgiving festivities!
Ours are a little different than yours – we like to bake sapcakes and smashed leaf balls instead of mashed potatoes and stuffing (I mean, what is stuffing? Do you stuff the stuffing in a stuffer? So strange!)
We can’t wait to share this special holiday with you.
To honor our time together, we would love if you could make Communifairilees! Please decorate mailboxes so that we can exchange letters back and forth. Be sure to be curious and ask great questions!
Talk to you soon,
Dossledorf, Queen Leekis and the fairies
We found the communifairilees and got to work decorating them – they were awesome! The kids asked questions and hopefully, HOPEFULLY we will hear from Dossledorf tomorrow.

Could you even imagine our surprise when we found ANOTHER note after lunch?
Dear Campers,
Oh goodness!
Your communifairilees looks so beautiful.
We have been so excited getting ready for the festivities, but we have run into an issue. You see, there is a troll we know named Grandpa Gretton and he is the Grumpiest troll in all of the villages. He has come to the Festival with a huge storm cloud following him around! His arms are crossed and his face is in a frown. It is VERY hard to get any work done around here with this grump just sitting around.
The littlest fairy in Hannalonkawich, Pip, keeps trying to talk to Grandpa Gretten but all he is getting in return are snarls and sighs.
In response, we called a meeting of all the elders (little Pip was so cute he kept trying to join the meeting). We are trying to think of what we can do to make Grandpa Gretten feel happy and to put love and thanks in his heart.
We were wondering if YOU could think of some things that might help him?
Thank you so much!
Love,
Dossledorf
We had a really nice discussion on what cheers us up and makes us feel better – if we feel grumpy: eating ice cream, hugs, being left alone, playing minecraft and being reminded of things that make us happy.
We decided to make gratitude trees so that we could show Grandpa Gretten some of the things that make US happy, in hopes he will get cheered up.

We hope it works!!
See you tomorrow – sleep tight magical creatures!
