Fairy Camp LA

YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!
It was such a joy to see our pals today at camp and to meet new awesome campers too! This week is going to be great! We feel so fortunate to be in Carey and Charlotte’s beautiful backyard! Thank you Cordens!

Today we spent the morning talking about the 5 ways to tell if magic is close, got to know each other by songs, questions, and even a little dancing!

We started seeing some pretty impressive flashes in the front yard so we used our big curious eyes – to help lead us to an ancient book we found in the tree!

The book is so wild. We read the first two chapters and it is SO similar to what is happening at camp! Boann, the main character, found jewels, an ancient book AND was ready to start an epic adventure and SO WERE WE!

Boann found a magical pouch to keep jewels in and to communicate with the fairies. We decided to do the same. We used felt, yarn, string and sticks to create and sew our own magical pouches. We will use these to communicate with the fairies this week!

Later, we had SO MUCH FUN playing in the backyard on the slides, playhouse and trampoline. We even met Lollipop the rabbit!

After we wrote in our Adventure Journals, we sat in a circle to give each other put ups, and then danced like crazy to GET DOWN.

Can’t wait to see what the book has in store for us tomorrow!
