Day 4 – Fairy Adventures at August’s House

Dragons and Queens oh my!

Today, after an epic freeze dance competition,

we received a note from Spencer the Dragon!

Well, hey there kids,
This is Spencer. I’m a dragon and I owe a lot to the fairy world for helping me believe in magic. You see, I was once in trouble and needed help with my dragon egg. The fairies, despite being a little afraid of me, showed me what it means to be a loyal and caring friend. They helped me keep my child safe, and in return, I vowed to be their friend until the end of my days. I will let Sue and Melissa tell you more of my story, but I do hope that Thomas can see the magic in caring for friends and keeping an open heart.

We know Spencer’s story well, and we also know that he and the fairies have a deep and trusted bond of friendship. We showed Thomas Rosebud ALLLLLL about how friendship is magic – because these campers are truly so kind and inclusive towards each other.

We made Dragon eggs (and hatched one as well) in honor of Spencer. It was a lot of messy fun!

Later, we received this note from Queen Leekis herself!

dearest children,
Tis I, Queen Leekis – Ruler of Hannalonkawich and a Red Love Fairy. I have been watching you all very closely, and have admired all you have done to help show Thomas where the magic lay. His search may be long and his journey difficult, but in the end, I believe he will come to the conclusion that Magic is all about LOVE. I have ruled this magical village for 1000 00000000 years and I have always ruled it with LOVE – I hope you will show Thomas what this looks like and he too will find magic in LOVE LOVE LOVE.
