Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

What a colorfully magical day!

Thanks to the kids’ amazing colorful clothes and hearts, we were able to help Boann out of the storm!

We created our own rainbow in a jar which was so cool (Science + Wonder = MAGIC!).

When we read our next chapter we learned that Boann whispered the following spell into the wind and was able to create a rainbow from the sea storm right from their own heart!

Help me see the colors that are hidden from view
Red, Orange, Purple, Yellow, Pink and Blue
And if no colors can be found at sea
Let the colors shine from inside me

To celebrate, we created our own rainbows from magazines on wood – the kids loved ripping and gluing and ripping and gluing and ripping and gluing.

Our next chapter brought us to a magical brick path where Boann found themselves in the craziest field of flowers. Flowers so colorful that Boann could hardly believe it! The flowers were shaped like hearts, butterflies, shapes and ladybugs. We decided to create some of our own magical flowers too. They look so cool! The kids will be bringing these home tomorrow because they were still super gluey! We were so busy creating our flowers we weren’t able to get pictures… but look forward to them tomorrow!

Getting back to our book, we learned that unfortunately, Boann was so enthralled and focused on the wildflowers too – so focused that Boann did not see the bridges! Without stomping on a bridge, a troll will definitely try to prank you to prove his existence! Everyone keep curious eyes tonight – and be careful!
