We are ready!!!

LET THE FAIRY GAMES BEGIN!!!

Today we had a lot of fun getting to know each other, and of course the fairies too! We sang songs, danced about bananas, and learned the 5 ways to tell magic was close. Magic was so close in fact, that we found a note from the Communications Fairy, Dossledorf.

Check out what he wrote:

Dear Campers –

Hello there!  It’s me – Dossledorf: Lead Communications Fairy for the village of Hannalonkawich.

How excited the fairies and I are to see such bright faces and sparkling eyes.  We are absolutely over the moon to have you here this week since it is such a BIG time for us in the fairy village.  You see, it is the 40569823rd FAIRY GAMES!  Fairies from all over, and from many different villages are coming to partake in the games and this year Hannalonkawich is hosting!  Yahoo! The fairies and I are hoping that you too would participate in the fairy games.  We’ve created a list of our favorite events – everything from the Lemondrop to the Upside Down Leg Ring Toss – we can’t watch you!

Although there is a lot to do, I am certain I will still have enough time to communicate with you this week. I am leaving Communifairilees here for you to decorate.  Please be sure to ask us questions each day and I will try my absolute best to answer them every evening.

With magic and a whole lotta hootin’ and hollerin’

LET THE FAIRY GAMES BEGIN!!!

Dossledorf

We played a round of the ancient fairy game, Triangleololololo

and decorated our Communifairilees. We really hope Dossledorf writes back tonight!

After lunch we had SO much fun making teams, playing water balloon games, getting silly, doing the Sourpuss relay, guessing the humdingers AND a running relay too! Phew! We can’t wait for tomorrow – new teams, new games and a whole lot of fun! See you then!
