Fairy Camp LA

YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!
It was such a joy to see old pals today at camp and to meet so many new awesome campers! This week is going to be great!

Today we spent the morning talking about the 5 ways to tell if magic is close, got to know each other by songs and questions, went on a magical tour and…….

we saw a MEGAFLASH!!!! We followed it to the bottom of the old wise tree named Mordecai in Tess and Calla’s backyard and there we found an ancient book!

The book is so wild. We read the first two chapters and it is SO similar to what is happening at camp! Boann, the main character, found jewels, an ancient book AND was ready to start an epic adventure and SO WERE WE!

Boann found a magical pouch to keep jewels in and to communicate with the fairies. We decided to do the same. We used felt, yarn, string and sticks to create and sew our own magical pouches. We will use these to communicate with the fairies this week!

We were SO lucky that Tess and Calla’s parents offered for us to use the pool because we had a blast and it was a great way to beat the heat!

We couldn’t believe it when it was time to go – it felt like the day went by in a flash. We can’t wait until tomorrow when the adventure continues with chapters 3 and 4!
