Fairy Adventures at Scarlett and Grey’s Day 3 – TRICKY TROLLS

Wow. Now this was a TERRIFICALLY TROLL-TASTIC DAY! We couldn’t believe all the great pranks that happened! Torn and graffitied T-shirts, rock and lego snacks, swamp juice – oh my!

This morning we sang, danced, read our notes from Dossledorf AND found this note from Mr. Troll Tiki himself!

Dear Kids,
YEEEEEOUZERS! I have been waiting for SO LONG to see you! My wife, Tulpa, and I are have been busting at the seams to see campers and to play the silliest games with them. When Tulpa told me about Thomas I thought “We’ve gotta get over to __’s house. They have to know that magic is all about being super duper SILLY! Trolls are the silliest creatures in all of the enchanted world. I mean, our favorite food is olives – and we love to eat stinky sock sandwiches!! We think if Thomas could just be in a troll’s shoes for a day he would see how magical being ridiculous is! Will you help us show him!?

Troll Tiki and Troll Tulpa

Well, we didn’t know how to be in a troll’s shoes, like Tiki and Tulpa suggested, but we DID know how to be in their hair! We had a lot of fun making troll hair and pretending to be trolls this morning!

After lunch we received another note from famous Fairy Artist, Rita Frita. She says that ART is Magic! Check it out:

Dear children,
Oh my goodness. Well, it would seem as though the Trolls have polluted this area with their extreme silliness. Now, don’t get me wrong, I am all about a funny joke every once and a while, and yes, I have been known to prank a friend or two – but you can’t honestly believe that SILLINESS is what magic is made of? Heavens no.
Magic is an art. And with art you can find all the mysteries of the enchanted world.
I should know. My name is Rita Frita and I am one of the fairy world’s most established artists. I implore you to please look at magic with an artist’s eye. I believe you will find the truth.

The kids were given mirrors to decorate so that they could take a good look at themselves and find magic. Afterwards, they drew pictures to see for themselves that Art is Magic – and I have to say… their work is very enchanted!
