We had a fun morning of singing, dancing and giggling!
We were excited to hear from Dossledorf – nearly every camper has been introduced to their fairy which makes us SO happy! We even had an impromptu dance party to Carey’s fairy’s favorite song!

Today we got a very exciting letter from Spencer the dragon… check it out:
Well, hey there kids,
This is Spencer. I’m a dragon and I owe a lot to the fairy world for helping me believe in magic. You see, I was once in trouble and needed help with my dragon egg. The fairies, despite being a little afraid of me, showed me what it means to be a loyal and caring friend. They helped me keep my child safe, and in return, I vowed to be their friend until the end of my days. I will let Sue and Melissa tell you more of my story, but I do hope that Thomas can see the magic in caring for friends and keeping an open heart.
With love,
Spencer
I loved telling the kids about the time a real live dragon came to our camp. We had fun reenacting the story AND making dragon eggs of our own! To hatch the eggs just use vinegar and the following spell:
Abbra Caddabra… Fairies Don’t Hide…
Help Hatch These Eggs… So We Can See What’s Inside!

Later we received a note from none other than Queen Leekis herself. As a queen, she ensures all her fairies have open hearts ready for love!
dearest children,
Tis I, Queen Leekis – Ruler of Hannalonkawich and a Red Love Fairy. I have been watching you all very closely, and have admired all you have done to help show Thomas where the magic lay. His search may be long and his journey difficult, but in the end, I believe he will come to the conclusion that Magic is all about LOVE. I have ruled this magical village for 1000 00000000 years and I have always ruled it with LOVE – I hope you will show Thomas what this looks like and he too will find magic in LOVE LOVE LOVE.
-Queen Leekis
In an effort to be more like Queen Leekis, we made our own crowns – they turned out beautifully!

We can’t wait to find out the answer to this puzzle of magic on our last day tomorrow. Is the Queen right? IS Magic Love? What about all the other enchanted creatures? The trolls’ silliness, the adventure fairy’s curiosity, Alpine Einshine’s science, Rita Frita’s Art and the dragon’s loyalty? Surely they are all magic too?! I suppose we will have to wait until the morning to find out!
