Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Another great (and very busy) day at Madeleine’s house!

The kids loved singing our silly songs about moose and trolls and they were brimming with excitement about the letter from Dossledorf they found:

Dear friends,

We loved watching you dance, play and craft yesterday!  Thank you so much for all of your magic!

Today we are going to bring magic to trees and even make some gifts for people you love and are THANKFUL for.

If I could list 5 things I was thankful for it would be:

  1. The smell of tomato vines
  2. Laughing so hard my stomach hurts
  3. My beautiful brown and sparkly wings
  4. The taste of Raspberry Shnoopfloops
  5. My friends, both fairy and Human

What would your list look like?

With love and gratitude,

Dossledorf

Inspired by Dossledorf, the kids created their own gratitude lists… and then we made Grateful Trees where we proudly displayed what we love so much.

After snack we made a popular Thanksgiving dessert – pumpkin pie!  Except this wasn’t to eat… it is to bathe with!  Pumpkin Pie Body Scrub!

How to Use Your Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub

  • Scoop a small amount of the Pumpkin Spice Sugar Scrub in your hands with a spoon.
  • Scrub all over your hands or feet – or wherever you’d like a little extra softness.
  • Allow to sit on your on your skin for 3-4 minutes. Enjoy this time to rest and relax.
  • Rinse well and then pat dry with a soft towel.

We hope you enjoy it!  It made our crafty hands so smooth!

Our final activity was one of my favorite things – creating homemade thank you cards!  The kids were given stamps, ribbons, markers and stickers to make their own thank you cards to give to someone during this season.  They all did a great job!  They were all so creative!

Thank you again for attending camp these past two days.  I am very thankful for the wonderful families who attend our camp.

And thanks to Madeleline’s awesome family for hosting!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
