Fairy Detectives – Day 3

We are starting to put the clues together to solve the mystery! Yesterday we learned about happiness and today about acceptance! We realized these are more like clues for the HEART instead of detective clues…

Today brought more songs, games and silliness…

Then we received another note from Troll Tiki:

Yesterday you learned of happiness,

A word that brings a lot of cheer

And now I ask you to look in your heart

To see how many colors appear

For a heart that loves all kinds and colors

Is the most magical I can see

To accept all creatures and their differences

Can be the enchanted key

We talked about what this might mean. The kids wondered if the troll wants us to know that it doesn’t matter if you look like a troll or a fairy – it is what inside that counts?!

Then that silly troll took us on a wild (and colorful) scavenger hunt!

In the end there was this final note:

Now wear these keys with pride

For they have brought you one step nearer

To finding the magic of the jewels

And making this mystery clearer.

The campers suggested the keys might not be for doors, but to open our hearts! GUSH! These kids rock!

We made necklaces with our keys and bracelets – they look great!
