Today’s icy experiments were SOOOOO cooooool!!
After games and a rousing rendition of Great Big Moose (thanks JFCs!) we found this note from Dossledorf:
Hi Campers,
BIG new… BIG news! We just got word that our very own Queen Leekis and King Wringlepringle from Hannalonkawich are coming to judge the big event on Friday night! This made all of our fairy competitors VERY nervous but VERY excited! Leela May nearly fainted!
Today’s trials are all about snow and ice – let’s hope they work on a hot day like this!
Big love and exploding fun,
Dossledorf
We raced back to read our notes from Dossledorf – we LOVE hearing from our fairies and learning more about them. During free time, the kids have set up the most delicious looking fairy bakery. Nice work, campers!!
Afterwards, we read Princess Thesablee’s note!
Dear Friends,
Our Fairies are so excited! Today, on this hot hot day, there will be TWO icy experiments.
The first one will be by liza Littlefoot and her lab partner, Melody May! It is called FAIRY ICE CRYSTALS.
The second, and a very risky endeavour, is by Valensky – a frozen waterfall!!
Have fun!
Queen Thesablee
We melted down the fairy crystals that Ben and I found at the magic fairy caves and put them in the freezer and fridge. We will have to wait until tomorrow to see if they turn into ICE crystals!
We also participated Valensky’s growing ice rainbow experiment – it was pretty tricky but it was also VERY cool! We were yelling with joy when it worked!!
The best trick of all however, had to be when the fairies made Popsicles out of our magic growing ice! YUM!!
So cool!
