Fairy Camp LA

What a great first day!  We were so excited to meet so many new pals and of course have our alumni friends back!

We got to know each other this morning at the playground and by singing silly songs and introducing ourselves.  Such a smiley group!

The kids were excited to learn about magic and used their new skills to find a note from Dossledorf!  It read:

Dear Campers,

Oh my goodness!  Oh my gosh! I am so excited to see you!  My friends and I have been looking forward to seeing you campers all summer and you are finally here!

Oh, but pardon me.  Not everyone knows who I am!  Let me introduce myself. I am Dossledorf, Lead Communications Fairy for the villages of Hannalonkawich and deRooville.  

My fairy friends have a big surprise waiting for you back at DeRooville… head on over and see what you can find!!

We were excited to get to the new village and explore – we love it!

At deRooville, the kids found a special message and baskets full of treasure boxes!  The note read:

Dear Friends,

Hello there!  What a TREASURE it is to see you!  I am Princess Thesablee and I am the leader of the village of deRooville.  We have been having such fun here at our new village and we are THRILLED to have you here!  We have a big week planned for you, but first – we would like to present you with these treasures.

If you could decorate them to make them as colorful as possible that would be amazing… you could even use jewels if you’d like!

We will treat these boxes as Communifairilees – a mailbox between you and the fairies.  Each night ask a question for your fairies and Dossledorf will answer them by morning.

We can’t wait to learn more about you!

The campers decorated the boxes with loads of creativity.  We asked questions to Dossledorf and we really hope he answers them tonight!

 

The end of the day brought a super fun game of Bumbleball AND a freeze dance competition.  Life is Grand in Fairy Land!
