Oh the kids had a blast today using their big, creative, imaginations!
We received this note from Dossledorf at the park this morning,
Dear Campers,
Wow! I have to admit, I didn’t know small human children could make something as cool as your Andy Warthog inspired art. It looked BEAUTIFUL!!! yahoo! Isn’t it SO fun to make?!
Our art show is going very well – the fairies have had a lot of fun looking at the beauty and creativity shown by our fairy artists. What do you think brings beauty to the world?
For me, it is definitely stories and French fries. Beautiful!
Love,
Dossledorf
and after we returned to deRooville, and read our questions from Dossledorf, we found this note from the Princess:
Dear Friends,
The fairies and I are so excited because a classic artist is coming to our art show tonight. Clover Monet has been a part of the fairy art world for years. She makes beautiful pieces with lots of color – but instead of painting the canvas, she uses other methods – like sponges and bottle caps, flowers and sticks and anything she finds just lying around! We feel honored to have her at our show.
Would you like to try and paint like Clover?
You would?!
Hooray!!!
I can’t wait to see them!
Xo
Princess Thesablee
The kids LOVED this craft. We put a whole bunch of different tools they could use and let them go wild! We also put tape down on the canvas first to make cool patterns. We are going to let them dry overnight, but we are so excited to see what they will look like!!
