We are flying with happy thoughts and fun!

Thank you for joining us for an incredible first official week.  We all had a great time!

 

Today at the park the kids found this note:

Dear Campers,
Today is magic day!  Today is the day you learn how the fairies take flight!
Before heading back to De Rooville, please find a stick perfect for spell making!

Back at deRooville they found fairy dust and ANOTHER note:

Dear Campers,
Today is one of our most favorite classes!  Flying class! We are hoping you will make your own flying dust and wand and learn how the fairies learn to take flight!!!

We made the most colorful flying dust ever!!  Not only that, but they worked together to make FRIENDSHIP FAIRY DUST!!!  The best!!

 

We also made colorful wands.  These are the kind of wands the fairy children have first.  They are also very useful in your first flying lessons.

 

We also had “spelling” class where the kids learned a very important spell:

I will open my heart

and always try

I will think good thoughts

to learn to fly!

And could you even believe that when we tried it – Kim flew!  She did!  It was so awesome and we were beyond excited!!
