Fairy Camp LA

YES!!!!  What a wonderful first day of camp.  Thank you SO much for joining us and kicking our summer off with imagination and fun!  As Giles said today, “If there is no fun, then it is not fairy camp”.

We were so impressed with how many new friends were made today.  It warms our heart to see such magic.  Thanks for your openness, dear friends!

When we were at the park we had so much fun dancing, singing and introducing ourselves.

Later, we found a note in the tree that read,

Dearest Friends,
My name is Dossledorf and I am over the moon excited to see you!!  As most of you know, i am the lead communications fairy for the village of Hannalonkawich.  We have spent the last 3 months preparing for this very moment of seeing you and now my little fairy heart is beating so fast with joy and excitement!  We really hope you love our new village, deRooville as much as we do.
Please head to our new village now to receive a gift I have left you and to receive a message from our NEW fairy leader!

We were super excited to go see the new village and -woah!  It was amazing!  So many beautiful flowers, ribbons and magic.  Hooray!

The kids spotted boxes from the fairies and this note:

Dear Campers,
Oh me oh my.  It is such a great honor to be writing you right now.  My name is Princess Thesablee and I have been granted leadership of the village of deRooville.  We are so excited to finally have you here and to finally bring the magic of the Melissa and Sue Campers to our village.  As a token of appreciation, we have left these Communifairilees.
As many of you know, these Communifairilees act as mailboxes from human believers to the fairies.  Dossledorf will answer most of the letters, because, well, that’s his job. But feel free to ask us ANYTHING you want and we will try our best to be honest and true.
Your answers will be in your boxes by morning!

PS – that was my first ever note to the campers – how did i do?!

It was fun to decorate our boxes with markers, glitter, paint and sequence.  We really hope Dossledorf writes back tonight!

DeRooville has so many awesome things to explore and we loved finding all of the little fairy magic throughout the yard.  We can’t wait to see what tomorrow has in store!
