Fairy Camp LA

Hello beautiful friends of the fairies!

We are so excited to introduce this new group of awesome fairy campers to the magic of Wondershire!  We had lots of fun getting to know each other through songs and games AND we loved getting a note from the Communications Fairy, Dossledorf!  It read,

Hello! Hello!
Welcome to the Fairy Village of Wondershire!
We are so excited to show you this new village and all the magic in it.
I am Dossledorf, Lead Communications Fairy for the villages of Hannalonkawich, deRooville and Wondershire (that is quite the workload, I may add).

Wondershire is a fairy garden that is ruled by Poppylop – a noble and well loved fairy. He has just started leading this new village and is quite exhausted from all of the new spells, magic, and fairy house building.

Poppylop and the fairies are in need of some sleepy magic, and who better to ask than the Night Fairies? The Night Fairies are so mysterious and so beautiful. We would love to invite them to come to Wondershire, but we need your help getting their attention.

Would you be so kind to wish upon (and decorate) these night fairy wands to help the Night Fairies know where we are?

The kids did a fantastic job with paint, glitter and sequence and we were excited to cast a wishing spell to let the night fairies know they should come to Wondershire!

Later, Dossledorf wrote back  –

Dear Campers
Your fairy wands look spectacular! Thank you so much for your creativity. Poppylop has asked that each of you receive a special gift to get to know the fairies of Wondershire better. Please find them near the wisest tree in the yard.

When we went outside we saw a basket in a tree!  It was full of gorgeous star boxes and this note:

Dear friends,
Thank you for your help! My name is poppylop and I am looking forward to learning more about all of you. I am sure you are curious about us as well and would love to present you with these night fairy communifairilees.
The communifairilees will act as a mailbox between you and Dossledorf. You may ask any question you like, and he will write you the answers by morning.
Please decorate them in a nightly fashion.
