Fairy Camp LA

Hello Friends!  Another great day under the sun at the village of deRooville!

The kids arrived SO excited to tell us all about the magic they had seen since yesterday.  They were full of stories and glee and it made my heart soar!

We sang, played and danced and had a ball!

Luckily, the kids remembered to check to see if Dossledorf had written them back and guess what?! Each camper received a personal note in their Communifairilees!  Yahoo!  Your little sparks were SO happy!

After snack the campers found yet another note from our fairy friend.  It read,

Dear friends –
Holy jumpin’ jelly donuts!
Your Communifairilees were so beautiful! Thank you for bringing such light and sunshine to your artwork!
Princess Thesablee is very excited. She told me that you wished upon bubbles and that (gasp!) the sunbeams have heard your wishes and are looking for some Sun Fairies to come visit this deRooville village.

BUT there is something you can do while we wait for the sunbeams to do their magic.

In ancient fairy times, the Fairies used to make suncatchers to call upon the Sun Fairies when they needed help. They can look many different ways, but one thing that is a must is that the sun catchers need to have beads that sparkle and shine in the sun. That way, the fairies can see them from up above.

Would you help us make some?! Please?!

Dossledorf had left a sun catcher for the kids to check out.  We beaded wires and shaped it to any shape that felt right.  Later, the kids found beautiful diamonds hidden throughout the yard.  We attached them to our sun catchers so the light could reflect the sun and get the attention of the sun fairies.
