Fairy Camp LA

Hello!!

What a cool group of campers!  We loved getting to know so many new campers and of course were very excited to see our alumni gang!

We had fun getting to know each other through games, questions and songs, songs, songs!

After snack the kids found this note from Dossledorf:

Hello Campers and welcome to Oxfordshire!

We are so excited to have you here at our fairy village and even MORE excited to see all the magic you will create this week!

For those of you who don’t know me, I am Dossledorf, Lead communications Fairy from the tribe of Shlittersnence, Village of Hannalonkawich and Oxfordshire. It is my deepest honor to invite you into our world of magic and enchantment. We have known Melissa and Sue for many, many years, and trust that the human’s that they introduce us to have (or will have) true HBF (human belief in fairies).

As a thank you, our Queen has asked if you would be please head down to the wishing well and cast a magical wish for yourself. She has also hinted that she may have left you a gift.
Have fun friends, and don’t forget to answer a riddle at the gate of riddles, stomp on the bridges, watch the water fairy performance, say hello to the turtles and tip toe by the Royal Slumbering Tree!

We were over the moon happy to go on an adventure to Hannalonkawich with our new pals!

When we reached the wishing well the campers followed the magic and found these boxes and this note:

Hello sweet friends,
Tis I, Queen Leekis. It is my great honor to have you here at our wishing well and to have you in our company this week, for this is a very important week in the fairy world!
On Friday, the fairies and I will be celebrating the 200 000th anniversary of our village, Hannalonkawich. That’s right! 200 000 years of dancing, singing, friendship, love and magic, magic, magic!
I would love to invite you to the party this Friday. Would you come? It should be such fun! If you agree, then we need to start planning! There is so much to do. Firstly, we would love for you to hear the story of how Hannalonkawich was created. Settle in, it is a dramatic tale!

Also, I have left you these communifairalees. For those of you who do not yet know what communifairliees are I will let one of your amazing JFCs explain. Have fun decorating them and I will be sure Dossledorf checks in with you tomorrow!

The JFCs told us that if we ask questions to the fairies, their answers will be put into these boxes.  The kids did a great job decorating the boxes!  We hope we hear back from Dossledorf tomorrow!
