Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

OH WOW!
We have been on a wild goose chase today full of pranks, tricks, puzzles and silliness!

We were so happy to get our questions answered from Dossledorf (AND TROLL TIKI) today. And we loved singing songs and getting to know our new friends a little better.

But you wouldn’t believe it! Once snack time hit, it was mayhem! Rocks in our lunchbags! Toilet paper in the backpacks! Leaves for snacks! and bananas with messages! Even our water cooler water was turned into blue tickle juice! Egad! It was SO fun!

We received this note from our magical friends:

Children,
Oh my goodness. I am so embarrassed! I cannot believe that Tricky Troll Tiki came and made a mockery of my note! How dare that sneaky little fellow.
I must admit though (and please don’t ever tell Tiki this) but your Communifairilees were SO IMPRESSIVE! All the fairies loved how they looked with the moss and… was that dirt? So beautiful!

Today we thought it might be fun to do some sophisticated line dancing and discussion of fairy behaviors in the 1800s.
Won’t you join us in the fun?
Love, Dossledorf

NO WAY!!

The Trolls are back and ready to play
This time in a more puzzling way.
Find a piece of the mysterious game
And find out my best friend’s name

She is silly and very smart
And makes me laugh and fills my heart

Have loads of fun on this puzzling day
And seek out magic wherever it may lay.

If this wasn’t awesome enough, we found a puzzle piece in the trees that led us to the park and on a scavenger hunt to find the puzzle pieces to see who Troll Tiki’s best friend is! It was super fun! The puzzle, once finished, introduced us to Troll Tulpa and gave us facts about her and all the trolls.

When we returned to Oxfordshire, we created our own puzzles. The kids were super into it and loved trying to put each other’s puzzles together when they were finished.

I think all this troll business is starting to get to us!  We have Trolls on the Brain!
