Hi Friends!

What a beautiful day we had at the Oxford House. We started by getting to know everyone, had an epic dance off then found a note from the one and only Dosseldorf!

Dear Friends-
Hello and Welcome to the magical village of Oxfordshire.  This beautifully enchanted back yard has been sought out by the fairies of Hannalonkawich for all the wonderful events occuring this summer and we couldn’t be more pleased that you are here to join us.

For those of you that do not know me, I am Dosseldorf – Lead Communications fairy for the tribe of Shlittersnence, Village of Hannaloonkawich.  I am here to help sustain HBF (Human Belief in Fairies) by teaching you all about our fairy ways.

This week we would love to tell you about some famous artists that have graced us with their beautiful creativity.  From Georgia O’Leef to Pinecasso, you will get to see their famous artwork and get inspired to create your own!

First thing  first… Please head to the Sheebeeweebee Tree to learn about our first artist to who painted portraits of herself!

Love, Dosseldorf

We headed over to the Sheebeeweebee Tree to find a gorgeous piece of artwork by the famous “Forrest Kahlo” and a note!  We also stopped at the wishing well to make a wish!

Dear Children!

Welcome to the Sheebeeweebee Tree!  I am so honored that you came to see what I have left for you!  For 400 fairy years I struggled with what I should create. My husband, Diego River, painted the most beautiful murals you have ever seen.  Finally one day, I realized that I was interested in drawing what I was feeling, so I drew myself!  I looked into the rivers to see my reflection and noticed that I looked like when I was sad, happy, angry and excited.  I would love to see what emotion you would like to draw of yourselves!

Love,
Forrest Kahlo

When we got back to Oxfordshire, the fairies left us surprise communifairilees!  We were so excited to see what color jewel was in the one we chose!  We decorated them, ate lunch and got right to work, using sharpies and pastels, on our self-portraits.   Each one was so colorful and unique.  It was an awesome first day!  Can’t wait for tomorrow!
