Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

HELLO!  Thank you for joining us for Performance Camp!  This group is so great and we can’t wait for a week of fun, performing, being silly and making new friends.

We sang songs, got to know each other, had a freeze dance competition and found this note from Dossledorf:

Dear Friends,
Holy Stars and Fireworks! We are so so so so so excited to have you here at the magical village of Oxfordshire!
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Dossledorf, and I am the lead communication fairy of the village of Hannalonkawich. I am here to welcome you to the village, and to invite you to the grand Performance this Friday!
The fairies have been busily practicing a performance for the Fairy Festival of Performance and Fun (FFPF), and the Queen wants to ask you a VERY important question:
Would YOU, the campers, like to perform the play about our beloved Queen?
It was written by Pear Shakes (with a little help from Poppylop). No human has ever performed the play, although it is a fairy tradition to do so every year on the anniversary of her coronation.
WHAT AN HONOR!!
Would you do it? Would you please?
If so, please walk to the park, find a shady area to watch your counselors perform it to you.
With love,
Dossledorf

The kids were great listeners and got super excited about the performance – especially which parts they would play!

After a walk to Hannalonkawich, the kids put on a talent show to display their talents to Dossledorf, who will be casting the play tonight!

Looking forward to all the fun this week!
