YAHOOOO!!!!
Another excellent day in the world of fairies, trees, friendship and magic! Dossledorf answered our questions and we couldn’t be more happy to have a real live fairy tell us all about the fairy village of Hannalonkawich. We also had a freeze dance competition! We love groovin’ to the fairy beats!
We also found this note hidden in the tree:
Dear Campers,
Your communifairilees looked amazing! Wonderful work and the colors look fantastic!
Today, the fairies and I would love to teach you about the Fairy Tradition of Heartarbor.
The Fairies have left you a message by the Sheebeeweebee Tree in Griffith Park.
With the love and strength of a tree,
D
We brought these awesome campers to the park and not only did we sing and run, but we found a message in the Sheebeeweebee Tree. It asked us to go see Franklin (the tree we met yesterday near the wishing well) for a present. We headed there with SO MUCH JOY! The kids were so excited!
When we arrived we were thrilled. Check out what we found in the note:
Children,
When a fairy child becomes 25 000 fairy years old, he/she will choose one tree to send positive thoughts and love to. They will whisper dreams and hopes and magic to the tree, and as a result, the tree will grow stronger and protect the fairy.
We call this the tradition of Heartarbor. Once a tree has been selected by a fairy, they will create these heartarbor tags to place on the tree. This connects the fairy to the tree, and forever binds them together.
We would love for you to make a heartarbor tag of your own, and to find a tree in your life that you would like to be connected to.
With love,
The fairies
The Heartarbor was beautiful and we had so much fun decorating our own. But the surprises didn’t end there.
There was still one more message from the Queen.
Dear Beautiful children,
I have left you these as a token of our friendship between the fairies, the trees and you, our human comrades. We believe in you, and love you.
Yours, QL
The kids loved their necklaces. We feel so connected to these wonderful trees!
