Day 5 – The Tale of Queen Leekis

Hello dear friends!

What a magical end to our week!

We had such an amazing time learning all about the story of Queen Leekis – we admire her strength and magic so much! On Friday we received this note from Dossledorf:

Dear friends,
Thank you for a magnificent week of magic. All the fairies have gathered in this tree high above to listen to Leekis’ story and we are so proud that you were the humans she first trusted with this deeply personal and amazing tale.
Cuddle up, find a friend, and listen to the end of this amazing story. At the end, I am sure you will all feel like royalty!

The kids got to hear the final “installment” of our story and they were thrilled with the ending. Lila became Queen!

We had a special surprise for our campers – capes they got to decorate in any fashion they liked. These hand painted, colorful capes were then presented to each child after they were dry just like how our queen was presented with her cape and crown on her coronation day. We had so much fun running around Oxfordshire in our newly adorned royal garb.
