Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Wow. I can’t believe how magical today was. The Oxford House is incredibly beautiful – lined with flowers, lights, colors and MAGIC. The kids were so excited and started finding fairy jewels right away!

I was so happy that Dossledorf and the fairies told us to find this Magical House – we were filled to the brim with happy!

After a few fairy stories and a couple of songs, we got to hear Dossledorf’s answers to our questions – and make no mistake, Melissa and Sue feel quite at home in these backyard thrones!

Later, we found a note from Dossledorf hidden in the tree,

Dear Campers,
Holy Doodleberries. Thank you for following the clues to this magical house.
For today’s game, we thought it might be fun for you learn an oldie from the Ancient Fairy Games. Two examples of these games is waiting for you by the Sheebeeweebee Tree. Please go check on your fairies while you are there too!
Love, Dossledorf

We hiked to the park and found the fantastic games Dossledorf left for us and this note:

Dear Friends,
We have left you the following 2 Ancient Fairy Games:
1) The Straw Puff Game. Normally, Fairies would play this with hollowed out reeds and dandelion seeds, but we have adapted it for Human use.
2) Flip Flop Flee – A fairy take on the human game of Tic Tac Toe. Have fun decorating your boxes!

With love,
The Fairies

We checked on our fairies and everything seemed to be going smoothly at Hannalonkawich so we headed back to the Magic House to decorate our Flip Flop Flee Boxes. We loved playing the game and had such a blast!

Can’t wait for the Games tomorrow!

PS – for anyone interested, the Oxford House is available for all kinds of events, shoots, etc. Check it out! https://www.oxfordhouseevents.com/
