Day One – Celebration of the Sunjive

What a great first day and what an amazing group of magical campers! Today was awesome!

To get to know each other, we sang songs, talked magic and even did a freeze dance competition! Congrats Sophie!

After snack, the kids found a note in our fairy mailbox wall that said,

Dear Children,
Hello dear friends and welcome to Fairy Headquarters! Fairy Headquarters borders on the village of Hannalonkawich, which is where I live with about 200 000 other fairy friends.
My name is Dossledorf and I am the Head Communications Fairy for our Village which is ruled by the magnificent Queen Leekis and her husband, King Wringlepringle.
We invite you into our village, and would love to honor you by giving you a gift. Please follow the path past the Gate of Riddles, The Bridges of Troll Tiki, The Performance Tunnel, The Tree of Slumber, The Turtle Pond until you get to the Wishing Well. Make a wish dear friends, and look for a gift from the Queen!

We were very excited to go on an adventure and the kids were wonderful explorers!

Once we made wishes in the wishing well, the kids found a beautiful branch full of cloth bags and this note:

Dear Children,
Welcome to our glorious village. We do hope you like it here, and that you feel the magic that surrounds you.
We have left you these Communifairiliees. We will let the JFCs explain them to you, but simply put, these bags will act as a mailbox for correspondence between you and Dossledorf.
I’m sorry I can’t write more, but we are busily preparing for the Celebration of the Sunjive – a dancing spectacular!
