Day 4 – The Art of Flying

We received this note from Dossledorf today:

Dear friends,
I must admit that this old fairy got a little misty watching you fly from Achakaibing yesterday with your wings on. You are beautiful! And you decorated them so well. Bravo!
There is only one more lesson to be learned, sweet friends… and this one is the hardest.

Our hike led us to a spot of Hannalonkawich which seemed extra magical. The flashes and fairy messages were out of control!

We found a beautiful clay jar with a note inside that read:

Friends,
One cannot fly without finding hope and positivity in their heart. It is the feeling that lifts you up.
For us fairies, when we think happy or positive thoughts, our wings begin to tingle – and when our heart fills up with smiles – we can levitate.
This is a wish jar. Decorate and fill your jar with all the wishes and hopes that bring you happiness. Then, if you are ever in doubt, these words will remind you that there is always happiness and hope.

We loved talking about our hopes and wishes and things that made our heart feel light – as if we could fly. We wrote them down and then decorated our jars.
