Day 2 – The Art of Flying

Hello Friends!

Our fairy lessons continue and so do the magic! Today, Troll Tiki gave us a good ol’ trick which forced us to use a whole different spot as Fairy Headquarters! We didn’t mind though, in fact – our new digs were pretty cool! We sang songs, read our notes and had snack.

Afterwards, we found this note:

Friends,
Friends. This is unprecedented. It has simply never been done before! Queen Leekis HERSELF went to the Grand Wish Lake last night and picked out a leaf HERSELF to make it come true.
Who here wrote that they wished that they could fly? Please raise your hand because we have YOU to thank for the magic that is about to happen.
Please head down to the path of many decisions to receive a gift and a note from the queen which will explain.

We headed to the path, where we DID find many decisions awaiting us. Which path should we go up? Where do we go from there? The campers chose to take the road less traveled and we set off on a new journey. And you know what? The kids were right!

We soon found a lot of fairy clues and then we saw a jar of dust and this note:

Dear children,
I was so moved by your earnest, amazing, thoughtful wishes yesterday that I thought it would only be right to grant one of your wishes even prior to it going through the vetting process.

One of you has wished to learn the art of flying. And I couldn’t be more thrilled to help. You see, flying is a complicated skill that takes time and a lot of concentration to master, however, it simply boils down to 3 simple steps:
Positive Thoughts
Open Heart
Flying Dust

Today we will be tackling the easiest one – Flying Dust!
I have left you a version of our Flying Dust that we would like to see you try and make. Of course, we use ground up jewels and flower blossoms, but Melissa and Sue have a few tricks up their sleeves, so listen hard, put love in your heart, and let’s make some magic!
