Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Hello!

More songs, games, fun and crafting!  The kids loved hearing their questions answered from Dossledorf this morning.  It is so magical to have a real live fairy to communicate with.  Dossledorf left us another hidden note in our fairy mailbox that read:

Dear Campers
What fun we had meeting you yesterday!
Queen Leekis and I were talking late into the night about how we thought you were a magical group of campers. The Queen also suggested that you might love to know the story of how King Wringlepringle came to Hannalonkawich. It is a story of mistrust, disloyalty and falling in love!
Head to the Village of Locanville for the story AND a gift from Queen Leekis.
Love, Dossledorf

When we got to the village of Locanville we found this note and a crown hiding in the tree:

Hello Friends! It is my honor to share with you the story of how I met my husband, King Wringlepringle. You see, he wasn’t a king when I met him. In fact, his crown had just been stolen… but I will let Melissa and Sue tell the rest.
I have left for you a replica of the crown from the story. I hope you will make some too!
With love,
Queen Leekis

I will let the kids tell you the dramatic story of the Coronation (be warned it involves, an old king, a quick decision AND betrayal!).  We acted the story out and the audience was riveted!

We got to make our own crowns too and the kids looked simply magical in them!

We even had our own coronation!

See you tomorrow when the magic continues!
