Hello Friends!
We are so excited to write you!! We had an incredible first day. Your kids were so magical, and SO much fun!
This morning we sang songs, told stories, and found a note from a real live fairy named Dossledorf:
Holy Sapjuice!
We have been waiting SO long to see you, my friends! This is the first day of summer camp and the fairies and I are so excited to have you so close to our home in the village of Hannalonkawich.
Our good friends, and fairy advocates, Melissa and Sue, have told us there are many new campers this summer. This thrills us! More kids who will hold the HBF (Human Belief in Fairies) the stronger our magic is!! Yahoo!
But excuse me. Some of you may not even know who I am! How embarrassing! My name is Dossledorf and I am the lead communications fairy for the village of Hannalonkawich, under the ruling of Queen Leekis and King Wringlepringle. I am here to answer any questions you may have about the fairies and how we live. I’m your #1, okay?
Because it is the first week of camp, the other fairies and I decided that it would be fun to give you a tour of Hannalonkawich. Would you like that?
If so, head to the Gate of Riddles for your first clue.
With love,
Dossledorf
Communications Fairy for the Village of Hannalonkawich, Tribe of Shlittersnence.
We followed clues full of rhymes and surprises all the way to the wishing well where a gift of a Communifairilee lay waiting for us and this note from the Queen!
Congratulations dear friends!
You have found our present!
I am Queen Leekis, leader of all the fairies of Hannaloinkawich and it is a great honor to welcome you to our village. We love Human believers, and to pay tribute to our new friendship, we have left you these Communifairilees. Please take them back to the fairy headquarters, where you may decorate them with as much magic as possible.
As our JFCs and Counselors will tell you, these boxes will act as a mailbox between you and fairies all week long.
If you ask a question to us tonight, and my faithful scribe, Dossledorf will answer you by morning.
Have Fun!
With love,
Queen Leekis
We loved decorating the boxes with paint and glitter. The kids were super creative!
Later, we worked on our Camp Journals and heard a funny story about Troll Tiki.
We can’t wait for tomorrow to see what is in store with these awesome campers!

Good night!
