Heat Wave? What Heat Wave? These kids are super cool!
Today we were so lucky to be able to hear Melissa rock out on her guitar! It felt like a private concert!
We also got our answers back from Dossledorf! We were thrilled to hear from a real live fairy!
He also left this note:
Dear campers,
Your Communifairalees look great! Excellent job!
We loved watching you sing and dance yesterday and we are so excited that you made some fun new friendships. Did you know that a fairy’s magic gets stronger every time a new friendship is made? True Story!
Today we would like for you to try and complete your campfire badge. If you can, take a walk to the Sheebeeweebee tree and follow the fairies instructions.
Love,
Dossledorf
We had a great hike to the Sheebeeweebee Tree and when we got there, we found a small campfire and this note:
Dear friends,
You will find here, a Hapsaflame, or in English, a Campfire. Fairies get together on each full, half and ¾ moon and sing around the campfire. We have so many songs. We also tell stories and jokes.
We were wondering if you would make your own Hapsaflames and create your own campfire songs.
But before you do, please have a seat, and listen to 2 of our favorite campfire songs. Sue… will you help sing it?
Also, please find a special surprise behind the biggest Leepapeep Leaf!
With love,
The fairies of Hannalonkawich
When I checked behind the Leepapeep Leap you wouldn’t believe what I found! MARSHMALLOWS!
We found the perfect roasting sticks and roasted our marshmallows by the Hapsaflame and sang.
It was perfect.
It was a long hike back, but we made it! We had fun telling some silly stories. These kids definitely deserved their campfire badges today!!
