A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Magic and Eco-heroes unite!

After our fairy questions were answered, songs were sung and silliness was had, we found this note from Dossledorf:

Dear friends,

Thank you for your bright smiles, and awesome clean up skills! The park looks beautiful! One of our friends, Poppylop, even told us that his magic was feeling even more powerful last night. It must be because of YOU!

As a thank you, the fairies have left you an eco-craft by the wishing well. We hope you like it!

Love, Dossledorf

We headed to the wishing well and sang our Littering Song the whole way. We are pretty sure some humans heard us, and thought twice about littering today!

When we arrived at the well, we found a beautiful piece of art and this note:

Dearest campers,

This is called a Scraptasia. It is a fairy craft that is popular to give after the Becomith when a fairy has been given its color.

As you can see, they are very colorful – and it is used from items found in human’s recycling boxes.

We hope you will try to make one too!

With love,

The Fs of H

We made our own out of recycled magazines and we think they look awesome! How fun it is to craft things that would otherwise be in the trash!

We can’t wait to see what there is in store for us tomorrow!
