Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Hello!!  What a beautiful day at the park!!  We were so excited that Dossledorf wrote us back last night!  We loved hearing the answers to our questions and learning more about the fairies!!

We also got this note from Dossledorf:

Dear Kids,

We were thrilled with your celebrations and your rendition of the “Suntarina Two Step”. We hope you loved the eclipse!

We were also so excited to see so many new friends made! Did you know that human friendship is one thing that can make a fairy’s magic stronger?

Another is a clean, sparkle-infused, shiny, awesome environment. We know that you all know that keeping our environment clean is so important. We think you are awesome!

To aid you in your magical ecofairy week, the fairies have left you a present by the Sheebeeweebee Tree! Please take a hike there – we will drop some leaves to let you know we are watching!

With love,

Dossledorf

We were excited to walk to the Sheebeeweebee Tree – it was such a beautiful day!

When we got there, we received a canvas bag and this note:

Hello beautiful children,

We have left here your very own “Litter Bu Bags”. Please use these bags instead of plastic ones – it is one great way to help our environment!

The fairies were also wondering if you would be able to help clean our sacred forested areas of any litter.  It would mean so much to us – you would be our ecoheroes!

One final thing,  we have noticed that music is the way to a human’s heart and we thought perhaps if you wrote a song, others would be inspired to keep the forest clean as well.

Would you do it? Please?

With love and admiration,

The Fairies of Hannalonkawich.

Wow!  That email was chocked full of information and requests.  But our little Ecofairies were ready for anything.  They rolled up their sleeves and put on gloves to help pick up litter from around the Sheebeeweebee Tree and Fairy Headquarters.

They also decorated their new Litter Bu Bags so they could use it for any future shopping trips or for school!

Finally, the kids  even wrote a song about littering that we will practice more tomorrow.  Hopefully it will help other humans not litter!!

Phew! These kids are amazing!!
