Fairy Camp LA

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to our blog! We are so excited about this week of camp and we have already had a boatload of laughs and fun! You won’t believe the silliness that happened today.

After some songs and games, the kids found a note in the fairy mailbox. But wouldn’t you know it?! It was TOTALLY blank! Oliver suggested we should look for another note that could be hidden, and thank goodness – we found it!

It read,

Dear Children,

What!!?? Oh my goodness. In all the years I’ve been leaving notes for the campers of Melissa and Sue never ever has Troll Tiki played a prank on me! Goodness. He has been so sensitive lately… but more of that later…

I am here, as the Communications Fairy of Hannalonkawich, to welcome you to camp! All the fairies and I hope you have a glorious time, experience magic, and make lots of friends.

The fairies have left you something in the village of Locanville. Please head there now for a special present!

Hello Campers!

We are delighted to have you here for a week of fun and magic! You will have to excuse any out-of-the-ordinary mishaps. Our good friend Troll Tiki has been up to some mischief lately. He says many campers this summer haven’t been stomping on the bridge – and he wants to ensure that kids know that he is, “the for reals troll tiki deals” – that last part is a direct quote. Fairies don’t generally talk with such jargon.

But enough of that – we are excited to give you these Communifairiliees! Communifariliees is a fancy word for “fairy mailbox” and we give you these today so that we have a way to communicate with you this week. Each day be sure to ask a question, and in the morning your answers will be found in this box!

Now, if you wouldn’t mind, please go and decorate your Communifairilees with loads of color and gusto.

The fairies of Hannalonkawich.

But Troll Tiki struck again! There were no Communifairilees for the JFCs (Junior Fairy Counselors)!!!! We searched high and low and then the kids noticed a green note under the bridge. We gathered round and read,

TROLL TIKI WAS HERE

JFCs are so sweet

But so are my sticky feet

WHAT?! Another trick! Tiki really IS being sensitive!   With more exploring, we found (you’re not going to believe this) 4 socks with the JFCs names on it!! SOCKS?! Goodness. Good thing our JFCs are so accommodating!

We headed back to Fairy Headquarters where we decorated the boxes (and socks) with loads of color and glitter. We also asked the fairies questions that we really hope will be answered tomorrow!

We were so excited that we had time to head to the wishing well through Hannalonkawich.  We stomped on every bridge and made a wish!
