Hooray!

We figured out the next step of the Nattermorph’s morphing cycle!  So exciting!

After a morning of song and reading Dossledorf’s answers, the Nattermorphs wrote us again.

It read,

We feel so lucky to be back for fun

For magic and mystery under the sun

The Nattermorphs are here to show

their new friends just how they grow

and change into different sorts of beings

to help them in times of trouble or with bad feelings.

The first step as you did learn,

Is to use a morphing wand to help us turn.

But there are two more steps before we change

Into a new species – without range

How the magic works and how we soar.

We went to the friendship tree and found the coolest “sphere” – full of glitter and rocks.

We were excited to learn that it was the second step of the Morphing Cycle.  The note read,

We are pleased to introduce

the second part of this magical truce.

As you see the magic is clear,

As we present the morphing sphere.

With care and kind hearts and a magical escape

This sphere will turn us into any new shape

We just enter the circle with hearts open wide,

Turn twice, whisper good intentions, then hold on for the ride

If you are able to create a morphing circle too

Then perhaps your back yard can host this transformation brew.

Remember that all of nature’s creatures deserve your aid

So they can be strong and vibrant and never afraid.

The kids created their own Morphing Sphere – and they turned out beautifully!

We took a moment for a time to talk about good intentions.  The kids chose magical intentions to put into our own circle (create peace, help find homes for people and dogs that might not have them, to plant flowers for the environment, etc).  It was wonderfully special… what kind hearted campers we have!

We created the next section of our Morphing Spell too!

But first I need my morphing stick

I shake it high and shake it low

and my new self will grow grow grow

I step into the circle with a heart so wide

turn two times, and hold on for the ride

I whisper my intentions, loud and clear

to help my friends who I hold so dear

We are hoping tomorrow will hold the final step for the Nattermorph’s alteration.  What a magical week it has been!
