What a wonderful first day of The Fairy Games camp! We have a wonderfully magical group of campers and we can’t wait for all the fun to unfold!
This morning we had a lot of fun singing songs, dancing and getting to know our new pals.
After snack, the kids were super excited to find a note from our Communications Fairy, Dossledorf! Check it out:
Dear Friends!
Gimmie an F!
Gimmie an A!
Gimmie an I!
Gimmie a R!
Gimmie a Y!
What does that spell???
FAIRY!
And what week holds the most games, fun, strength and silliness in the whole fairy year?
FAIRY GAMES!
The Fairy Games 2017 will take place on Friday and the fairies and I are so so so excited that you have decided to join us! Please take this week to practice all of the Fairy Games, as some of them might be new to you. This will be a week full of fun, teamwork and awesomeness!
Always remember the three rules of the Games:
-Try Hard
-Cheer Loudly and
– Stay positive
Before we begin any of our games, however, the fairies have left you a gift by the old village of Locanville. It will help you communicate with all of the Hannalonkawich fairies.
With love,
Dossledorf
PS – for those of you who don’t know me, I am Dossledorf, the communications fairy of Hannalonkawich, tribe of Shlittersnence.
We headed to Locanville right away and found the coolest thing! Treasure boxes!!!!
This is what the fairies had to say:
Hello Campers!
How exciting it is to see so many old friends and SO many new faces! What a wonderful week this will be!
We hope you like the gifts we left you! These treasure boxes, or Comunifairalees, help you and your fairy friends communicate.
Every day at camp you can ask any questions you like – in morning, your answer will be put in this communifairalee by our friend, Dossledorf.
Please return to fairy headquarters and decorate these boxes with your own unique sense of fun, magic and zest.
We can’t wait to see them!
If there is time, we would love to teach you the game of Hop, Skip, Fly. It is one of the first events at the Fairy Games!
With big love,
The fairies of Hannalonkawich.
We loved decorating the Communifarilees and can’t wait to see if Dossledorf writes us back!
Before the end of the day, we practiced one quick round of Hop, Skip, Fly – the kids were real pros! We hope we get to play it on Friday during the Official Games!
In honor of Lorelei’s birthday we had some fruit Popsicle! They tasted great on this hot day – HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORELEI! Thanks for spending your bday with the fairies!
May you have a magical night!
