Fairy Camp LA

Welcome all fairy friends!  What a wonderful first day of summer camp!  We loved seeing the faces of new friends and were ecstatic to see old ones!

After loads of songs, games and smiles,

the kids found a note written by our friend, Dossledorf! … it read:

Well hello there, Friends!

It is so good to see so many friendly faces and so many new ones!

It is always a pleasure to see the sapphire blue shirts of the Melissa and Sue camps. You are great allies of the fairies, and we love you so.

For those of you whom I have not met yet, my name is Dossledorf. I am a Communications Fairy for the tribe of Shlittersnense in the village of Hannalonkawich. I have had the pleasure of working for many summers with the campers and I look forward to continuing to do so for many years.

I received a special note from my friend Falatty (sue’s fairy) who wanted to know if you could learn more about how fairies get their colors, what the different colored fairies mean and more about the beautiful hues of our winged friends.

I was so excited to accept!

What a wonderful week of rainbow magic we will have!

Because today is the first day, we happily ask you to go to the site of the Locanville village to receive a special gift from all our colorful fairy friends.

Instructions will be included.

We hope you like the gifts we left you! These treasure boxes, or Comunifairalees, help you and your fairy friends communicate.

After every day before lunch please feel free to ask any questions you like – then in morning, your answer will be put in this Communifairalee.

Melissa and Sue will fill you in on the rest.

Please return to base camp and decorate these boxes with your own unique sense of fun, magic and zest.

We can’t wait to see them!

We are also SO excited to teach you all about our colorful lives as fairies. We already know we are going to be such GREAT friends!

The kids did a great job decorating the Communifairalees.  We can’t wait to see if Dossledorf answers our questions tomorrow!

We even had a quick walk to the fairy wishing well to open our big hearts and wish for something fabulous for our friends!

We are so looking forward to having a fantastic week with these awesome campers!  The magic is limitless!
