Wow. Last Day of Camp!! Can you believe it?
We celebrated in style! We had an epic Freeze Dance Off!!! Congrats to Bea for winning the whole competition!
The JFCs surprised us with a scavenger hunt too!
But it was Dossledorf who summed up this week beautifully:
Dear Children,
What a wonderful week! You have brought us such joy and light. We admire you and your eagerness to help our world. Thank you, my dears, for being such amazing EcoFairies – we know the park is in good hands with you.
Today the fairies wanted me to ask you a big favor. You see, Hannalonkawich has been closed all summer long. As most of you know, we have moved to the jungle area while Hannlonkawich and Achakaibing get revamped from the storm.
We are still about a month out of the big move, and we were wondering if you would be so kind in making eco-friendly houses that you could put in your yard (or house) for the fairies to stay in when they come visit. They would love to rest their heads near you… their favorite humans!
We thought you could use all the rest of the recycling products your families have brought in.
Remember, fairies love to live in places that have a lot of color, a lot of nature, and a lot of love.
We can’t wait to see these creations.
And thank you for your big hearts and creative souls.
The fairies and I love you so much. Keep our big love in your hearts all year long – remember, magic is always close by, and so are we…
Have a great year,
Dossledorf and the fairies of Hannalonkawich.
The kids had a BLAST creating their own homes for the fairies – they painted, glittered, glued and imagined these wonderful creations!
We have had a great last week with these wonderful kids! Thanks so much to our amazing counselors… you rock! Have a wonderful year everyone and we hope to see you soon!
