Fairy Camp LA

Oh the magic is strong with these young world savers!  We had a great, silly, silly, silly day today.  Loads of laughing and goofing about.  But we still left boatloads of time for friendship and kindness!

The JFCs asked if they could lead an activity of friendship bracelets!  Of course!  The kids had so much fun and our JFCs were such amazing leaders!

Afterwards, we got this note from Dossledorf:

Dear Children,

My oh my your flower pots were so, so, so beautiful! All the fairies were ooohing and ahhhing about them all day and night. Some of them actually flew to your homes to check out where you put them and where you named them!

Thank you also for your pictures! We loved seeing the many ways of how you would save our earth. It feels great to have wonderful allies like you.

Today we have a super fun project for you! One of our favorites!

It takes a grand imagination and a creative hand and we know you have both!

Please walk throughout the jungle path until you see a wild, exciting Fairy Balingting!

You will recognize it from its shine and magic.

We walked along the jungle path and found a beautiful Balingting hanging in the trees.  This note was with it:

Congratulations!

You found the Fairy Balingting! These are fun ornaments we make using old CDs or DVDs that humans throw in the garbage. There are so many fun projects to make with human’s garbage. Magic can be found in just about anything!

The only rule about making a Balingting is… that there are NO RULES! Make them with all the style and gusto you have. Then, hang them in your house or yard in a place that gets a bit of sun.

Once it has been hung, turn around three times and say,

“Magic Magic all around, From Up Above and on the ground, make this spot shine with fun and catch the rays from the glorious sun!”

Then watch the magic it can do!!
