Yahoo! We are so excited to have our last week of summer filled with campers who have such magic and fun in their hearts!
Today we sung a lot of getting to know you songs:
And after snack we found this note from our friend Dossledorf!

Dear friends,
Oh goodness! We have been so excited about your arrival!
My fairy friends and I have been counting down the days until we see you again!
We are so thrilled that you will be learning important information about the environment and how to protect the Earth this week. Griffith Park is where our fairies live and grow. The park gives us what we need to create magic and we want our beautiful environment to stay vast and healthy.
But wait… Some of you might be new to Griffith park and all the magic that awaits you here.
And if this is true, how embarrassing! You don’t even know who I am! Please forgive me and let me introduce myself. I am Dossledorf. I live in Griffith park and am a part of the fairy community Hanalonkawich in the tribe of Shlittersnence.
My job is to communicate with the human world. They call me a communications fairy. We all have jobs, and they are all equally important. I love my job because I love teaching people about fairies.
If you have any questions about me or my fairy friends, please let me know.
This gives me a wonderful idea. Please go to the village of Locanville for a fun surprise.
More later…
With love, Dossledorf.
We went to Locanville and found a MoonRay full of jewels and this note!
Hooray!
It is with the utmost pleasure to give you the magic needed to create your very own fairy mailbox using recycled material.
Use this to communicate with me or the other fairies. We can’t wait to find out all about each other.
Would you please decorate these to match your personal sense of magic?
With love, Dossledorf.
The kids had 9 bazillion ideas of how they wanted to decorate their own Communifariliess with the recycled boxes they brought. They turned out beautifully!
We can’t wait to see if the fairies answered the questions that we left for them! See you tomorrow!
