What a great day to end a fabulous week!

Today we learned about the traditional way that Trolls tell stories… with Story Stones!  But first, we had to follow the scavenger hunt:

Welcome good friends, Troll Tiki says with a wink

I am here to make you think and think

I have put all kind of notes throughout this forest of ours

So please join us for fun for the next couple of hours

I have put clues to a tradition that all trolls love

So be sure to look all around, down below and up above

Collect the clues, there are 7 in all

Figure out my game – and have a ball!

Your first note is hidden close to home base

Look in the ditches in front of you – and be sure not to race!

 

Great Job for finding clue #1

And getting us started for loads of fun

 

Clue #2 can be found near the playground’s edge

Look around the circle of sand along the round ledge

 

special note #3 is hidden just north of the troll’s bridge

Try and find a special clue just on the Nature’s ridge

 

Clue #4 will try and fool you – so you best look hard and still

It waits for you on an ancient fairy log – high up on the hill

Clue #5 is down the hill in an island full of rock

Try to find the treasure there – and be careful where you walk!

Clue #6 is far away and up the main walk way.

There you will find a small opening, where fairies go to play.

 

Clue #7 awaits you down the nature slide

This is the last clue for you to find, be sure it does not hide!

The greatest thing about Story Stones is that you can shake up the story and change outcomes, characters and even the plot!

We liked making our own Story Stones, and we had fun shaking them up making new stories with them.
