Troll Tiki Strikes Again!
I came home to upload all of today’s pictures only to find 3 out of 54 were visible. The rest were completely black. I have NO idea what happened… but I am sure a 2 foot troll had something to do with it. Despite the lack of pictures, I will try to explain our day so you can hear how awesome it was!
The kids were super duper excited to find out that Dossledorf wrote back to all of their questions. It was awesome! We also spent the morning singing loudly and dancing like crazy.
After snack we found a note that read:

Troll Tiki is back and eager to play
And has fashioned a hunt for you on this day
You must find the clues to help you along
Sometimes you’ll be right, and sometimes wrong.
But don’t give up – trolls never do
An adventurous heart will get you through
For today you’re on a hunt for something trolls use
To keep themselves sincere so they will never lose
For trolls can be tricky we know this is true
But they never want to be unkind or make friends feel blue
So begin your adventure to find what it is
That helps these trolls stay positive
Clue one out of 6 is found in a place that looks like an alley
Where water once was, but now stands a valley
The kids knew where to look immediately and found this note near the playground:
Congratulations you have found the first of the clues
Now listen up hard as we describe to you
The next clue is hiding near a shady bridge
Not toward the jungle but more to the ridge
We found this note under one of the bridges:
Don’t stop now, you are on a roll.
Keep moving on don’t go slow
Clue number three is found up the path a little
Where a glittery heart awaits – called a loveatittle.

The kids who have been to camp with us before just knew it had to be the friendship tree! And they were right! Here is the note they found there:
Keep moving onward, you are playing like a vision
Clue #4 is found at the top of the path of many decisions
Up top of the path that has three choices we found this:
Clue number 5 awaits near an odd shaped tree
That is cluttered with fairy writing as far as you can see

Up ahead on the trail we saw the tree Troll Tiki was talking about – and so we raced to it, found this next note,
Clue number 6 is hiding in a place you know quite well.
Hannalonkawich is still there among the trees in the dell.
We ran to Hannlonkawich, found this note, and also a legend and a strange looking game/compass/art piece.
Congratulations! You have found the game you seek
Now, have a look at the legend and give it a peek.
The signs will give you the last hint of day
A troll game of sorts to stay clear foul play.
All of the notes had symbols on the side of the paper. Once we figured out what it said with the help of the legend, it read: PEACE, LOVE, HAPPINESS.
We learned that the piece we found was a Trollative. It is a device that Trolls use to ensure they are making good choices in their pranks. Before pulling a trick or prank, the troll takes a deep breath (depending on the number they roll) and then ask the three questions:
PEACE: Is the trick kind or will it hurt someone’s feelings?
LOVE: Am I doing this prank to someone I like BECAUSE I like them or am I trying to be mean?
HAPPINESS: Is the trick funny? I mean, what’s the point if it isn’t funny?
If the troll can answer a positive answer to all three questions, he knows it is a good prank.
We made our own Trollatives. They were awesome!

Have a great night!
