Fairy Camp LA

A blog for Fairy Camp LA, focusing on crafts, music, dancing, nature, fairies, trolls, magic, and other enchanting activities for children.

Welcome everyone!  We are so excited to have a chance to hang out with all of these magical, enthusiastic campers!!

Our morning was great!  We had fun singing and getting to know each other.

And we even received a note from Dossledorf, our communications fairy!

Hello Friends New and Old!

I’m just so happy to see you here. We have been having a lot of fun here at camp this summer… a lot of singing and dancing and hiking and laughing and magic, magic, magic!

Things have been great, but you see… we have also noticed some very strange behavior. Tricks and pranks and silly, little, eyebrow raising, mischief.

Please, keep your eyes out for any of this tom foolery. If it is what I think it is, my friend Troll Tiki might be up to no good (this heat makes him goofy, I tell you). He is harmless – but be sure to stomp on the bridges to let him know you are not the kind of camper that gets tricked!

The fairies have left you a surprise down by Locanville Village. Please have a look.

Sending you loads of magic and spark,

Dossledorf

Communications Fairy for the tribe of Shlittersnence in the village of Hannalonkawich.

The kids were super interested to hear about Troll Tiki, so we shared some of our favorite stories of the silly creature.  Of course, Troll Tiki is not unkind at all – but rather a very close friend of the fairies who LOVES to play tricks on friends.

When we went to Locanville to get our present from the fairies we received another note… but this one was a bit strange – seemed like Troll Tiki WAS up to some silly tricks!  He even put a note in the fairy boxes that said “Trolls Rule, Fairies Drool”.  Goodness.

We still had loads of fun painting and decorating our Communifairilees

and had a blast playing games – including ones called “Troll Tiki says” and “Troll, Fairy, Giant”.  It is always such a pleasure to see new friendships bloom throughout our days here at camp.

We can’t wait to see what more fun this week will bring!
