Fairy Camp LA

On today’s menu: laughing, cheering, yelling and games, games, games!

Up first:  A game of Jump, Step, Fly! A fairy version of the the triple jump!

We also played: Fairy Laughing Contest

and Fairy Relay!

But the real show stopper was ROCKONSEEK!  A fairy game for the mind.

Hi Athletes!

Your Triangaloos looked awesome yesterday!! Excellent work, friends!

Today you will learn a different kind of sport, because fairies not only believe in strong bodies but in also strong minds.

Take a walk to Arachnaterria  to find out what Rockonseek is!!

Also, remember that tomorrow is the big event! We will be cheering from the tree tops for our favorite sports and for all of you!

When we got to Arachnaterria we found 3 decorated stones and this note:

Campers,

The fairies believe in many things – but being kind, brave and smart are always at the top of the list. This game is great to help use our brains so that when we get into tricky situations we can handle them with the ease of a floaty feather.

These rocks hold different pictures. Memorize them. Have one judge take one away while your eyes are closed. Which one is missing?

Good luck, be clever and always keep your wits in your shirt pockets.

The kids spent so long creating their own rocks for Rockonseek and then played, and played with their pals.  They even doubled up the rocks to see if they could be super tricky!

We can’t wait until tomorrow when we are put in teams and the Games begin!  I’m definitely  eating a good pasta dinner tonight, going to sleep early, and stretching when I wake up!  I will be ready!
