Hooray! What a great group we have for Fairy Games! Big smiles, big sparkles, BIG magic, big fun!!
We had a great time getting to know each other today with games, songs and silliness
and after snack, the kids found this note from Dossledorf – our Communications Fairy!
Dear Children,
Oh what a fine group of campers you seem to be!
The fairies and I have been waiting for your arrival for many weeks and we are overjoyed to be spending the 2045690th Fairy Games with you!
Throughout this week, the fairies and I will be teaching you some traditional Fairy Games. We can’t wait to see you shine while throwing the Discotiskis, and use your clever minds during the Rockonseek challenges.
As I’m sure you know, Fairies always promote excellent sportsmanship and outrageous cheering capabilities. We hope you do the same!
Oh! But excuse me – I haven’t even introduced myself yet. My name is Dossledorf. I hold the honor of being the Communications Fairy for the Village of Hannolonkawich and the tribe of Shlittersnence.
You will be hearing quite a lot from me this week, but before we continue on, we would like to present you with our age old tradition of the Communicafairalee.
Please head to Arachnaterria where you will find a present from the Fairies!
With love,
Dossledorf. Chief Communications Officer.
When we got to Arachnataerria, we found beautiful treasure boxes and this note:
Hooray!
Sweet children, congratulations!
It is with the utmost pleasure to give you your very own fairy mailbox called a Communifairalee. Use this to communicate with the fairies. Each day at the end of camp, you may ask us questions. With a little bit of magic and a whole lot of fun we will try our best to answer all the questions!
We can’t wait to find out all about each other.
Would you please decorate these to match your personal sense of magic?
But before you do, please head down to the fairy wishing well, where the JFCs can tell you how to make your very own wish come true!
With love, The Fairies of Hannalonkawich.
The kids were excited to decorate their fairy mailboxes, and did a great job! They asked fantastic questions too – I can’t wait to see how Dossledorf responds!
We also learned a fairy game called Huffapuff! All it takes is 2 straws, a new friend to be your partner and a puff ball. This game is SO fun!
Tomorrow the fairies are going to teach us another new game – I wonder what it will be?!
Have a magical night!
