Fairy Camp LA

Hi Friends!

So sorry for the late post and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!

Our last day of camp was filled with such joy and surprise!

We began the day with an epic (and totally fun) freeze dance competition.  Congrats to Xyerian for being the master freezer!!

We received a special visit from Reed, a counselor from years past AND Queen Leekis’ human!  Thanks for coming and joining us on our hike, Reed!

Dossledorf wrote us too!  It said:

Dear Children!

What a magnificent week we have had with you very lovely friends. Thank you for your curious minds, your exploring eyes and your adventurous hearts!

The fairies and I heard your group question you gave yesterday and we think we have a beautiful way for you to always remember the magic of this week and the enchantment of fairies and friendship.

Please go to the Sheebeeweebee tree for a surprise from us!

We headed to the magical tree and found small chips of wood from the Sheebeeweebee Tree and a note that read,

Dearest Friends,

Our hearts are full with friendship and love. Thank you for being such wonderful campers this week! We will miss you dearly!

We have left you gifts dear to our hearts.

These pieces of wood, called, “Connectors” will always keep each other in one another’s hearts.

Please take a Connector and decorate it with thoughts and wishes… and don’t forget to choose a word that reminds you of this week and makes you happy.

You can keep this connector in your room or even in your pocket. Just one touch or one thought of your connector will remind you of the love, magic and friendship you found this week.

Here is a spell that will help you with this task:

Friendship of the fairies

Can be felt from far and near

Keep the magic you feel in your heart

All throughout the year

If you ever feel lonely

Or want to feel great

Look no further than in your dreams

Because that is where we will wait.

When we headed back to basecamp, the kids were flooded with words from our special week: joy, happy, fun, love, and magic to name a few.  We made our Connectors and did the spell.
