Such a magical day to end a magical week filled with imagination, friendship, creativity and fun!
Chloe and her mom, Elizabeth, surprised us with magical fairy cupcakes! We got to make wishes and blow pixie dust on top of the treats! So cool and wonderful! THANK YOU ladies!
Later, Dossledorf wrote:
Dear friends,
Your magic just keeps growing, and the fairies and I just keep getting prouder and prouder of you!
Your houses are just so beautiful and the fairies thought they were simply wonderful.
The final chapter of the story awaits you at Hannalonkawich, but before you go, please listen to this:
Your magic is strong and you have such open hearts.
Whenever you feel lonely, remember that we the fairies love you dearly and we are always watching you and cheering you on.
Now… Go have fun!!
Love, Dossledorf.
The kids were excited to hike to Hannalonkawich one last time!
When we arrived, we received this note…
Dear campers,
What a wonderful week it has been and how impressed we are with all of you. We have loved sharing our fairy tale with you and think you have done an excellent job!! We hope you have enjoyed it too!
Please find the final chapter to our story and please know that we are looking forward to giving you a final surprise at the end of the day!
You are amazing!!
Love, the fairies of Hannalonkawich.
and the FINAL CHAPTER to our fairy tale!
A Fairy Tale – Final Chapter
Suddenly, out of nowhere… The most colorful houses started to appear around Hannalonkawich. They were orange, red, pink, blue, purple… every color of the rainbow! They were glittery, sparkly and beautiful! Queen Leekis and King Wringlepringle knew it must have been from those wonderful blue-shirted campers!
At that moment, the storm stopped…the clouds parted and the sun came blazing down. All the residents of Hannalonkawich started coming out of their tunnels, trees, and rain shelters. They saw the gorgeous houses and started cheering! The king and queen told all of their fairies about the magic that the children had given them and how they created magical wings, and wands. They also told him that the beautiful houses in front of them come these campers as well.
The fairies were elated and cheered a mighty cheer for these wonderful campers. The littlest fairy, Quiet Pete, squeaked “these campers deserve a gift. A gift of the highest fairy honor!”
And that is when the fairies of Hannalonkawich decided to give the kids one of the most important spells of the fairy world. But in order to find it, the campers had to go back to where it all began.
When the campers returned to base camp, they saw what was waiting for them and became the happiest campers in the whole world.
The End.
The kids were over the moon excited to see what surprises lay ahead. When we returned to base camp they found jewels and a PIXIE DUST SPELL!!
The Spell of Fairy Dust
(to only be shared with fairies or 100% trusted friends of the fairies)
High up above
Surrounded by love
Live the fairy friends
Whose magic has no end.
With the help of fairy dust
and love, care and a bit of trust
The fairy magic will never die
And with soaring wings, you will fly!
We were very excited to make our own pixie dust and cast the spell!
And then, as if things couldn’t get any more magical, we found one last note telling the kids to go to Arachnateria for a final surprise.
There, our friend Olivia unveiled her true self – OLIVIETTA! She is a friend of Dossledorf and spent the week with us in human form to guide, protect and have fun! With our group of campers! What a shock! What magic!
Olivietta even asked her friends the deer to come and say good bye to us (no pictures turned out) but it was absolutely beautiful.
Just like A Fairy Tale ending should be.
