We are back and super duper excited to be joined by some of our alumni campers this week!
Dossledorf was equally excited – and wanted to send loads of congratulations to the kids:
Congratulations sweet friends!
You were such a success! Your 4 plays were simply wonderful and we loved, loved, LOVED watching them! You provided enjoyment, showed courage and were very very creative!! ECC!
I am so excited to tell you that the fairies have left you something important at Hannalonkawich – we hope you will go check it out! Remember – when in doubt, always read Green notes first
Talk more later,
Dossledorf, communication fairy of the Village of Hannalonkawich and the tribe of Shlittersnece.
The kids were excited about hiking to the village! Such sunshine, friendship and adventure!
When we got there, we found the green note from Dossledorf.
It read:
Dear Friends,
We simply loved your plays and we thought you did an awesome job.
We had a wonderful time at our performance too! The Sound of Pirate Rent was a huge success at the festival! We are very proud to tell you that we have been asked to perform in the “Shake it Up” Festival THIS Friday!
The Shake It Up Festival is a series of plays that are common to everyone but have been “shaken up” to make it different. We are totally going to adapt the Sound of Pirate Rent. We are very excited.
We were wondering if you would be a part of this festival with us!
You can shake up one of the plays you performed on Friday, or shake up the characters you played, or even adapt another famous play!
Will you please join us!?
Love,
The fairies
PS – a small gift of the Rockarocka flower has been left for each group from Friday’s performance. We hope you feel their magic!
Of course the campers were very excited about the chance to perform in the Shake It Up Festival! Our ideas and brainstorming happened right after we read these delightful notes from the fairies about our performances on Friday! Gosh, they are just so sweet!
Congratulations to the “Magical Dancing” Group! We loved your dances and attitude! Your play was so fun!
Congratulations to the “Adventurers of Peace” Group! We loved your message of peace!
Congratulations to the “Story of Love” Group! We loved the comedy in your play – and you all spoke so clearly and loudly! Great Job!
Congratulations to the “Adventures of the Missing Diamond” Group! Your story was so positive – and we LOVE the idea of Friendship Day!
We were absolutely blown away by the story that was already created from our Shake It Up Brainstorm. The kids thought of such an epic tale – we even got into groups and started figuring out our characters! If that’s not a successful day of Fairy Camp, well, then, I don’t know WHAT is!
Love these kids!
